I work full-time as a librarian and I love books and reading as well as, listening to audiobooks but in my spare time (of which there is never enough), especially in the spring, I spend almost all my time outside in my yard. I garden and wildlife watch. I live in the Northwest hills of Connecticut and while there are other houses around, the area is heavily wooded. I majored in biology in college – and spent one summer as a research assistant but other than that have never formally worked in the that field. I hope to make this blog a chronicle of all the really cool things I see in my own backyard.
